How GigDaddy works

GigDaddy is a free map of local gigs in the United States. A poster describes work and confirms an email. The gig shows up as a pin. A provider browses the map and sends a quote. If the poster accepts, both sides see each other's contact details.

GigDaddy connects posters with independent providers. We don't do the work, employ the providers, endorse anyone, or guarantee a result. Check licenses and insurance yourself when the work calls for them.

There are no fees and no paid plans. The site can show ads, including sponsor ads labeled Sponsored.

The public pin is about half a mile from the address. City, state, and ZIP are public. The street address and the poster's contact details stay private until that poster accepts a quote.

Providers confirm an email, then complete an identity check. When Stripe Identity is configured, that check runs there and we do not store ID photos. Otherwise an admin approves or rejects the account. A Verified badge means the identity check passed. It is not a license or insurance endorsement.

Some gigs are not allowed. Questions: hello@gigdaddy.app.
